Job Summary:

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to customers, warehouses, and business locations. The role includes ensuring vehicle safety, following delivery schedules, maintaining delivery records, and complying with all traffic and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport goods to designated delivery and pickup locations.

• Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring no damage during transit.

• Verify shipment details, invoices, delivery challans, and other transport documents before departure.

• Obtain customer signatures or Proof of Delivery (POD) after successful delivery.

• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, engine oil, brakes, tires, lights, battery, etc.).

• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure regular maintenance and servicing.

• Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, delays, or mechanical issues immediately.

• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Ensure goods are securely loaded and transported safely.

• Maintain accurate trip records, fuel logs, mileage, toll receipts, and delivery reports.

• Coordinate with the Operations Team regarding delivery status and route updates.

• Handle customer interactions professionally and courteously.

• Assist in emergency deliveries or urgent transportation requirements when required.

• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.

• It is a Full Time Driver job for candidates with 6 months - 5 years of experience.
