Job Summary

The Car Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers, goods, or company personnel to designated locations. The role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and adherence to traffic laws and company regulations. Drivers must maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition and provide courteous service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles and adhere to all traffic and road regulations.

• Transport passengers, staff, or materials to assigned destinations in a timely manner.

• Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays and ensure punctuality.

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior).

• Report any mechanical issues or damage to the supervisor immediately.

• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, travel logs, and maintenance.

• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary.

• Follow company policies regarding vehicle use and safety protocols.

• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.

• Clean driving record with no major violations.

• Proven driving experience in a similar role.

• Good knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and GPS navigation.

• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

• Physical ability to lift or move items when required.
