Driver

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to support transportation needs with flexible working hours. The Driver will be required to strictly follow the instructions of the reporting person and ensure compliance with company policies, traffic laws, and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the ambulance and transport patients, attendants, and medical staff as required.

• Adhere to all instructions provided by the reporting medical/operations personnel.

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and ensure timely arrival at designated locations.

• Drive cautiously while ensuring patient safety and comfort, even in emergency situations.

• Maintain the ambulance in clean, fully fueled, and operational condition at all times.

• Conduct routine checks of fuel, oil, water, tires, sirens, oxygen, stretcher, and medical equipment before and after each shift.

• Assist medical staff in loading/unloading patients, stretchers, and equipment.

• Follow safe driving practices and traffic laws, especially when using sirens or priority driving.

• Record trip details including mileage, fuel usage, and service requirements.

• Remain available for flexible duty hours, including emergencies at short notice.

Basic Rules & Regulations (to be followed strictly):

1. Always carry a valid driving license and company ID while on duty.

2. No use of mobile phones or distractions while driving (except hands-free if required for official communication).

3. No consumption of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs during duty hours.

4. Follow the routes, timings, and instructions provided by the reporting person without deviation.

5. Respect traffic rules and drive safely at all times.

6. Ensure confidentiality of official and personal matters of passengers/employers.

7. Do not allow unauthorized persons to use or ride in the vehicle.

8. Report any accidents, damages, or delays immediately to the reporting person.

9. Maintain proper dress code and professional behavior during duty hours.

10. Be courteous, respectful, and cooperative at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Proven experience as a driver (professional or personal).

• Knowledge of traffic laws, routes, and vehicle maintenance.

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline.

• Ability to work flexible hours as per organizational needs.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
