A driver's job involves safely operating a vehicle to transport passengers or goods, requiring adherence to traffic laws, route planning, and vehicle maintenance, while also focusing on customer service and timely deliveries, often involving physical tasks like loading/unloading and detailed record-keeping. Key duties include pre/post-trip inspections, using navigation, keeping the vehicle clean, and handling documentation like mileage logs. 

Core Responsibilities

• Transportation: Safely transport passengers or goods to designated locations, ensuring timely arrival.

• Vehicle Operation: Follow all traffic laws, use navigation apps, and adapt to traffic/weather delays.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks (fuel, oil, tires), keep the vehicle clean, and report needed repairs.

• Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and securing cargo or baggage.

• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, offer assistance, and collect payments/receipts.

• Documentation: Complete logs, mileage reports, and delivery records accurately. 

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license

• Knowledge of local roads and traffic laws

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Defensive driving ability

• Physical stamina (for lifting)

• Strong communication skills
