A driver is responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport passengers or cargo to destinations, adhering to traffic laws, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Drive vehicles (cars, trucks, vans) following all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.

• Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of tires, brakes, oil, and fluids; perform minor repairs and ensure vehicle cleanliness.

• Logistics & Navigation: Plan efficient routes, use GPS/navigation tools, and adjust for traffic or construction.

• Transport & Handling: Safely load, secure, and unload cargo or transport passengers, ensuring on-time delivery.

• Documentation & Service: Maintain mileage logs, report maintenance issues, and provide professional customer service.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Experience: Previous driving experience is often required (e.g., 1–3 years).

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items (often 25+ lbs) and stay alert for extended periods.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients or passengers.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using GPS and, for, delivery roles, basic, smartphones/software.
