Job Profile – Personal Driver / Executive Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and well-mannered Personal Driver to drive a Toyota Innova for the Managing Director and family requirements. The candidate should have excellent driving skills, good knowledge of Chennai roads, maintain the vehicle properly, and be punctual, trustworthy and professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive the Toyota Innova for official and personal travel.

• Pick up and drop the Managing Director as per daily schedule.

• Drive for office meetings, customer visits, airport transfers, functions and other appointments.

• Be available for local and occasional outstation travel.

• Plan suitable routes considering traffic and travel time.

• Maintain punctuality and ensure the vehicle is ready before every trip.

• Keep the car clean and well maintained inside and outside.

• Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyre pressure, battery and other basic vehicle conditions regularly.

• Coordinate periodic service, maintenance, insurance and vehicle repairs.

• Immediately inform management about any vehicle problem or maintenance requirement.

• Maintain fuel, FASTag, toll, parking and service records when required.

• Ensure RC, insurance, pollution certificate and other vehicle documents are valid and available.

• Follow all traffic rules and safe-driving practices.

• Avoid rash driving, unnecessary speeding and mobile-phone usage while driving.

• Assist with luggage, documents and other reasonable travel-related requirements.

• Maintain complete confidentiality regarding personal, family and company-related information.

• Maintain professional behaviour at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Indian LMV driving licence.

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience preferred.

• Experience driving Toyota Innova / Innova Crysta / similar MPV or premium vehicles preferred.

• Good knowledge of Chennai and surrounding areas.

• Should be comfortable with airport and outstation driving.

• Should understand Google Maps/navigation.

• Must be punctual, disciplined, trustworthy and polite.

• Should maintain personal cleanliness and professional appearance.

• Must not consume alcohol or any intoxicating substance while on duty.

• Should have a clean and safe driving record.

• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is required.

Working Requirements

The candidate should be willing to work according to the Managing Director's travel schedule and should have reasonable flexibility for early-morning airport trips, late-evening returns and occasional outstation travel.

Preferred Candidate

Preferably a driver who has previous experience working as a Personal Driver / Executive Driver / Director's Driver / Family Driver and understands the importance of privacy, punctuality and responsible vehicle care.

• It is a Full Time Driver job for candidates with 3 - 5 years of experience.
