Primary Responsibilities
Deliver cakes, pastries, bakery products, and other items safely and on time.
Ensure products are handled carefully to avoid damage during transportation.
Verify delivery invoices, challans, and delivery quantities before dispatch.
Collect customer signatures or proof of delivery where required.
Maintain proper communication with the dispatch, sales, and production teams.
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery between factory, stores, and customers.
Vehicle Responsibilities
Conduct daily vehicle inspections before starting duty.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery vehicle.
Report any vehicle breakdown, damage, or maintenance issues immediately.
Ensure fuel levels and necessary documents are always available.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines.
Drive responsibly to protect products, passengers, and public safety.
Carry valid driving license and vehicle documents at all times.
Avoid unauthorized stops or use of the vehicle for personal purposes.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain delivery records and route logs accurately.
Submit cash collections and documents to the concerned department promptly.
Report delivery issues, customer complaints, or product damages immediately.
General Conduct
Maintain professional behavior with customers and colleagues.
Wear company uniform and ID card during duty hours.
Support emergency deliveries during peak business periods and festivals.
Follow instructions from the Logistics, Operations, and Management teams.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
On-time delivery percentage.
Product damage rate.
Customer feedback and satisfaction.
Vehicle maintenance compliance.
Accuracy of delivery documentation.
Attendance and punctuality.
