Job Summary
A Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and providing courteous customer service. The role requires strong communication skills, safe driving practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
Assist customers with vehicle drop-off and pick-up
Safely Park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas
Maintain accurate vehicle and key records
Inspect vehicles for existing damage before parking
Help guests with luggage or directions when needed
Follow traffic, safety, and company procedures
Keep valet area clean, organized, and secure
Report accidents, damages, or suspicious activity immediately
Coordinate with hotel, restaurant, or event staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements & Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Strong attention to detail and responsibility
Basic knowledge of vehicle safety procedures
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
Preferred Skills
Prior valet, parking, hospitality, or customer service experience
Knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns
Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly
Professional appearance and positive attitude
