Driver

A Truck Driver (Track Driver) is responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently using heavy-duty trucks or other large vehicles. The role involves following assigned routes, maintaining schedules, and ensuring the safe loading, transport, and delivery of cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks (e.g., tractor-trailers, box trucks, flatbeds) to transport goods.

• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.

• Load and unload cargo, securing materials properly to prevent shifting or damage.

• Follow designated routes, GPS, and delivery schedules.

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and cargo records.

• Comply with traffic laws and all transportation regulations.

• Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff.

• Monitor vehicle performance and report issues or required maintenance.

• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for vehicle type.

• Clean driving record.

• Ability to operate large vehicles safely.

• Basic mechanical understanding for minor truck maintenance.

• Good time-management and navigation skills.

• Physical ability to lift/load cargo when required.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
