Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the cardiac ambulance to and from hospitals, homes, and other locations as required.

• Coordinate with paramedics and medical staff during patient pickup and drop-off.

• Ensure the ambulance is stocked with necessary emergency supplies and equipment.

• Assist in loading/unloading patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Follow traffic laws and emergency vehicle regulations at all times.

• Check and maintain vehicle condition, fuel, oil, brakes, and cleanliness regularly.

• Understand and support basic medical emergency protocols (e.g., handling stretchers, oxygen cylinders).

• Report any incidents, delays, or concerns to the supervisor immediately.

• Remain calm and responsive in high-pressure, emergency situations.

Requirements:

• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License.

• Minimum 1-3 years of ambulance driving experience (Cardiac ambulance preferred).

• Basic knowledge of emergency care equipment and patient handling.

• Physically fit and able to assist with lifting or moving patients.

• Good communication skills and professional attitude.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
