Cab Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company or client vehicles, strictly following traffic rules and safety regulations.

• Transport passengers or goods to designated locations in a timely manner.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) at all times.

• Conduct regular vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, water, brakes, and tyre conditions.

• Report any vehicle issues, breakdowns, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.

• Follow assigned routes or navigation instructions effectively.

• Assist with loading and unloading goods (if applicable).

• Maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, and mileage reports.

• Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.

• Ensure confidentiality and safety of passengers and goods.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Valid driving license for the required vehicle category.

• Proven experience as a driver with a clean driving record.

• Good knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and GPS navigation.

• Ability to handle long-distance or extended-hour drives when required.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting items (for goods transport roles).

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline.

• Professional attitude and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure or in traffic situations.

• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
