Job Description

Transport passengers: Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops, following a planned route and schedule.
Ensure safety: Obey all traffic laws and transit regulations, help passengers with disabilities or elderly passengers board and exit, and maintain a safe environment during the trip.
Vehicle maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, check tires, lights, and oil, and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate manager.
Customer service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about routes and schedules, and assist passengers with luggage.
Communication: Communicate with dispatchers or other drivers via radio or phone to report delays, incidents, or accidents.
Record keeping: Complete paperwork related to accidents, vehicle problems, or other issues.
