Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and strategic Social Media Executive to grow our online presence and establish our manufacturing company as a trusted industry leader. You will bridge the gap between our technical teams and our customers by translating complex manufacturing processes and product capabilities into engaging, visually compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Storytelling
Factory-Floor Content: Capture and produce high-quality on-site content (photos/videos) from the factory floor showcasing machinery, assembly processes, and technological innovations.
Content Calendar: Develop and execute a monthly content calendar aligned with business objectives.
Asset Production: Create engaging posts, reels, videos, infographics, and stories to highlight product features, applications, and technical specifications. [1]
2. Platform Management & Strategy
B2B & B2C Outreach: Manage and grow our presence on platforms relevant to our industry (primarily LinkedIn for B2B leads, and Instagram/YouTube for product showcases).
Brand Positioning: Implement brand-building strategies to enhance trust, authority, and credibility in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
Trend Monitoring: Identify industry-specific hashtags, trending topics, and competitor performance to improve our organic reach. [1, 2, 3, 4]
3. Community Engagement & Lead Support
Audience Interaction: Respond to customer queries, comments, and messages promptly and professionally.
Lead Generation: Support the sales team by qualifying incoming inquiries and forwarding leads to the appropriate sales representatives.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Technical Teams: Work closely with engineering/production teams to gather accurate, detailed information about products and processes.
Sales & HR: Coordinate with sales for product launches/exhibitions, and with HR for employer branding and recruitment campaigns. [1, 2, 3]
5. Analytics & Reporting
KPI Tracking: Track key metrics such as reach, engagement, click-through rates, and lead generation.
Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports detailing campaign performance and propose data-driven improvements
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing (prior experience in the manufacturing or B2B industrial sector is highly preferred).
Soft Skills:
Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills tailored to different platforms.
Aptitude or curiosity for understanding technical/mechanical manufacturing processes.
