Role Overview

We’re seeking a Social Media Manager who is not only creative and data-driven but also deeply aligned with spiritual and conscious living. You will play a key role in shaping and growing our digital presence, engaging a spiritually aware audience, and spreading our mission of conscious astrology across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a holistic social media strategy aligned with brand values and business goals.

• Curate and create content related to Vedic astrology, karma, spiritual growth, remedies, and life guidance.

• Design and manage monthly content calendars (posts, reels, videos, live sessions, stories, quotes).

• Grow and nurture a spiritually aligned online community.

• Collaborate with astrologers and video editors to share insights in an accessible, modern way.

• Monitor trends in astrology and spiritual content; bring fresh ideas to the table.

• Run and optimize ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) to promote consultations and workshops.

• Track analytics and generate performance reports to optimize growth and engagement.

• Maintain consistency in visual branding and messaging across platforms.

• Strategy & Planning Develop monthly and quarterly social media calendars.

• Align social strategy with broader marketing and business goals.

• Identify target audience personas (students, parents, educators).

• Content Creation Design engaging, educational, and promotional content.

• Collaborate with graphic designers or use tools like Canva.

• Plan reels, carousels, testimonials, infographics, and live sessions.

• Platform ManagementFocus on platforms like:

• Instagram (reels, stories, carousels)

• LinkedIn (professional updates, educator engagement)

• Facebook (community building, events)

• YouTube (webinars, demo classes, tutorials)

• Twitter/X (industry news, quick updates)

• WhatsApp Broadcast (for updates to leads/students)

• EngagementRespond to DMs, comments, and queries promptly.

• Engage with industry and competitor pages.

• Encourage UGC (user-generated content) and testimonials.

• Advertising & PromotionsRun paid campaigns to generate leads for courses or programs.

• Track ROI of promotions and boost high-performing posts.

• Analytics & ReportingUse tools like Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite.

• Report on growth, engagement, and campaign success.

• Optimize strategies based on data.

Qualifications

Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field.

• 1+ years of experience in social media management (experience in wellness/spirituality domain is a bonus).

• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and community engagement practices.

• Ability to create visually appealing content using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or similar.

• Excellent writing and storytelling skills with an understanding of spiritual tone and voice.

• Familiarity with Vedic or Eastern philosophy is a strong advantage.

• Basic video editing skills and comfort in managing live sessions or reels.

• Knowledge of social media ad campaigns and analytics tools.

Bonus Skills

• Interest in or prior work with astrology, yoga, Ayurveda, or wellness brands.

• Experience in webinar promotion, lead generation, or email marketing.

• Understanding of spiritual audiences and how to engage them meaningfully.
