We are looking for an experienced, creative, strategic and highly proactive Social Media Manager who can take ownership of multiple brands and their digital presence.
This is not just a posting and scheduling role. We are looking for someone who understands social media strategy, brand management, content planning, client communication, competitor analysis, audience behaviour, outreach, engagement and content creation.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple brands and clients, handling dynamic challenges and taking ownership of their work from strategy to execution.

“What should I post today?”1. Social Media Strategy & Brand Management
• Develop and execute effective social media strategies based on each client’s business goals.
• Understand each brand’s personality, target audience, tone of voice, positioning, and visual identity.
• Maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve brand awareness, engagement, reach, and overall digital presence.
• Suggest creative campaigns, content series, trend-based content, and brand-building ideas.
• Ensure all social media activities align with the overall brand strategy.
• Take ownership of assigned brands and continuously look for ways to improve their social media presence.
2. Content Planning & Strategy
• Create monthly and weekly content calendars for multiple brands.
• Develop engaging and strategic content ideas based on business goals and target audiences.
• Plan a healthy mix of educational, promotional, entertaining, engaging, relatable, and brand-building content.
• Create content strategies that are purposeful and not repetitive.
• Plan content around important campaigns, industry opportunities, trends, and relevant events.
• Develop ideas for posts, carousels, stories, reels, and other relevant formats.
• Ensure content is aligned with the brand’s objectives and audience interests.
3. Competitor Analysis & Research
• Conduct regular competitor analysis and social media audits.
• Research competitors, industry trends, audience behaviour, and high-performing content.
• Identify content gaps and opportunities for brands to stand out.
• Analyse what competitors are doing and suggest better or differentiated approaches.
• Stay updated with social media trends, algorithm changes, platform updates, trending formats, and audience preferences.
• Use research and insights to continuously improve content strategies.
4. Content Creation & Creative Direction
• Create strong concepts for social media posts, carousels, stories, reels, and campaigns.
• Write engaging hooks, captions, content copy, and basic scripts.
• Develop creative ideas that are relevant to the brand and engaging for the audience.
• Give clear creative direction for graphics and videos.
• Ensure every piece of content has a clear purpose and aligns with the overall strategy.
• Adapt content according to different social media platforms and their audiences.
5. Graphic Design
The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of graphic design and should be able to create social media creatives when required.
This includes:
• Instagram posts
• Carousel posts
• Story creatives
• Promotional creatives
• Campaign creatives
• LinkedIn creatives
• Basic branded templates
Canva knowledge is mandatory.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design tools will be an added advantage.
The candidate should understand:
• Basic design principles
• Visual hierarchy

• Social media design trends
6. Video Editing & Reels
The candidate should have good hands-on experience in short-form video editing.
Responsibilities include:
• Editing Instagram Reels and other short-form videos.
• Understanding video hooks, pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
• Adding subtitles, text overlays, transitions, music, and other relevant elements.
• Creating engaging videos according to current social media trends.
• Developing videos that feel native to the platform and are not overly promotional.
• Editing videos according to different brand personalities and audiences.
Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools will be preferred.
7. Posting, Scheduling & Social Media Management
• Schedule and publish content across relevant social media platforms.
• Maintain proper content calendars and posting schedules.
• Ensure all content is reviewed and approved before publishing.
• Check captions, creatives, tags, hashtags, links, and other details before posting.
• Manage multiple social media accounts efficiently.
• Ensure content is published consistently and on time.
• Maintain proper organisation of content, planners, and account-related activities.
8. Client Communication & Account Management
• Communicate professionally and confidently with clients.
• Understand client requirements and convert them into actionable social media strategies.
• Share content planners, ideas, updates, and reports with clients.
• Handle client feedback professionally and ensure timely implementation.
• Coordinate with clients for content requirements, approvals, and revisions.
• Build strong and professional working relationships with clients.
• Take ownership of client accounts and ensure smooth communication.
• Be confident in explaining ideas, strategies, and recommendations to clients.
9. Organic Outreach & Social Media Engagement
The candidate will also be responsible for strategic social media outreach and engagement activities for client accounts.
Responsibilities include:
• Identify relevant accounts, industry leaders, potential audiences, and communities for engagement.
• Conduct meaningful and relevant engagement on social media platforms.
• Write thoughtful and engaging comments that help increase brand visibility.
• Support organic outreach activities based on the client’s business goals.
• Engage with relevant profiles and potential prospects in a professional and strategic manner.
• Help build meaningful conversations and relationships through social media.
• Identify opportunities for collaborations, networking, and audience growth.
• Ensure all outreach and engagement activities follow the client’s brand voice and communication style.
• Participate in relevant conversations and industry discussions.

10. Basic Meta Ads Knowledge
The candidate should have a basic understanding of Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram Ads) and should have practical experience running some campaigns.
Responsibilities may include:
• Basic understanding of Meta Ads Manager.
• Experience setting up and running Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns.
• Understanding different campaign objectives such as:
• Awareness
• Engagement
• Traffic

• Conversions
• Basic understanding of audience targeting.
• Basic knowledge of campaign budgets and placements.
• Understanding the importance of ad creatives and ad copy.
• Monitoring basic campaign performance.

Note: We are not looking for a dedicated Performance Marketing Specialist. However, the candidate should have hands-on experience with Meta Ads and a basic understanding of paid social media marketing.
11. Performance Analysis & Reporting
• Track the performance of social media content and campaigns.
• Analyse key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, content performance, and audience behaviour.
• Identify what is working and what needs improvement.
• Use insights and data to improve future content strategies.
• Prepare basic monthly performance reports.
• Share actionable recommendations based on social media performance.
• Continuously experiment with new ideas and improve strategies based on results.
12. Team Coordination
• Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, content creators, and other team members.
• Clearly communicate creative briefs, deadlines, revisions, and expectations.
• Ensure smooth execution from content planning to final publishing.
• Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Work collaboratively while also being capable of working independently.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities.
