Job Description: E-Commerce Executive (Fashion Brand)

Position Overview

The E-Commerce Executive will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s online sales channels. This role involves product listing, catalog management, marketplace coordination, website updates, order processing, customer service, and improving overall online visibility and sales performance. The ideal candidate should have experience in fashion e-commerce, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of various online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Listing & Catalog Management

• Create, update, and manage product listings across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Meesho, etc.).

• Ensure accurate product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images.

• Coordinate with design/photography teams for product photoshoot and content.

• Maintain product category, size charts, and attribute mapping.

2. Marketplace Operations

• Upload new collections and ensure timely launch on all platforms.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory/warehouse team.

• Manage brand presence through A+ content, brand stores, and platform promotions.

• Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines and policies.

3. Order & Return Management

• Oversee daily order processing, dispatch, and tracking.

• Handle returns, replacements, and refund cases in coordination with operations.

• Maintain accurate order logs and MIS reports.

4. Pricing & Promotions

• Assist in pricing strategy based on competition and market trends.

• Manage promotional calendars, discount setups, and offer campaigns.

• Coordinate with marketplace account managers for visibility and sales events.

5. Customer Service

• Address customer queries and complaints received through online channels.

• Work on improving customer ratings and reviews.

6. Sales Analysis & Reporting

• Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance on each platform.

• Generate MIS reports for inventory, sales, returns, and overall performance.

• Analyze data to recommend improvements to listings, pricing, or promotions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion Management, or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, preferably in a fashion brand.

• Knowledge of online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).

• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
