The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s online sales channels. This role involves overseeing day-to-day e-commerce operations, optimizing the customer experience, driving traffic, improving conversion rates, and ensuring seamless integration between marketing, logistics, and technology teams.
E-Commerce Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals.
Manage and optimize the company’s website and online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
Identify and implement new opportunities to increase online sales and market share.
Website Management
Oversee site content, product listings, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure website functionality, UX/UI, and performance are optimized for conversions.
Collaborate with developers and designers to implement updates and enhancements.
Digital Marketing
Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and influencer campaigns.
Analyze marketing ROI and customer acquisition costs.
Merchandising & Inventory
Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock levels.
Implement effective product categorization, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and revenue.
Use data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4, Power BI) to identify insights and make data-driven decisions.
Customer Experience
Ensure smooth order fulfillment, returns, and post-purchase support.
Oversee customer feedback and improve satisfaction and retention.
Team Management
Lead and mentor the e-commerce team (content, digital marketing, operations).
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, finance, and logistics departments.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
4–8 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) and digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO tools).
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Experience in B2C/B2B e-commerce, preferably in [industry, e.g., fashion, electronics, FMCG].
