We’re expanding our search team and looking for a specialist who lives and breathes Google Search strategy. You’ll work only on Australian accounts and handle the thinking behind structure, bidding, search intent, and performance patterns — not execution across multiple channels.
As we move into AI-driven optimisation next year, this role will sit at the core of that shift.
What You’ll Drive
• Search-first strategy across multiple industries
• Logical keyword structuring, match-type planning, and bidding decisions
• Reading auction signals, competitor movement, and intent trends
• Writing search-focused ad copy tailored to Australian behaviour
• Spotting landing-page and conversion flow gaps
• Turning analytics dashboards into strategic actions
• Running structured tests — bidding, audience, segmentation
• Working closely with Data, GTM, Dev, Content & Project teams
• Contributing to AI-led optimisation initiatives inside the agency
Skill Set That Fits This Role
• Strong background only in Google Search Ads
• Experience with international or high-budget accounts
• Understanding of Australian search behaviour is a plus
• Confident with automated + manual bidding
• Able to decode Quality Score factors & impression share shifts
• Comfortable using AI tools (no coding needed)
• Strong reasoning, communication, and stakeholder alignment
• Google Ads certification is an advantage
What This Role Is Not
• Not Meta ads
• Not SEO
This is a strategy-heavy position for someone who can think ahead, guide the execution teams, and adapt to a fast-moving, AI-aligned environment.
