About the Role
We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Marketer to manage and grow Pledge Foundation's presence across digital platforms. The role focuses on building awareness for our programs medical emergency support, menstrual hygiene, education, and community development and engaging donors, beneficiaries, and supporters through compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, create, and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Write engaging captions, basic copy, and campaign messaging aligned to each program.
Design or coordinate creatives using tools like Canva (or work with a designer).
Run and monitor paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram Ads) — basic budget handling.
Track key metrics — reach, engagement, follower growth, leads — and report weekly.
Stay current with trends, formats, and reels to keep content fresh and relevant.
Coordinate with the fundraising and program teams to source real stories and field content.
Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent posting.
Respond to comments and messages to maintain community engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–2 years of hands-on social media marketing experience.
Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Basic content creation — Canva, reels editing, caption writing.
Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and basic campaign metrics.
Good written communication in English and Hindi.
Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistency.
Preferred (Good to Have)
Experience in an NGO, social sector, or cause-driven brand.
Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
Understanding of donor engagement or fundraising campaigns.
Knowledge of analytics tools and content scheduling platforms.
