Digital Marketing Intern: Role Overview

The Digital Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation. This role is perfect for a multi-faceted individual looking to gain hands-on experience in SEO, content strategy, email marketing, and paid advertising.

Key Responsibilities

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Web

• Keyword Research: Assist in identifying high-traffic keywords to improve website rankings.

• On-Page Support: Help optimize blog posts and landing pages with meta descriptions, headers, and alt-text.

• Audit Support: Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console.

2. Content & Email Marketing

• Copywriting: Draft engaging copy for blogs, newsletters, and promotional emails.

• Email Campaigns: Assist in setting up and scheduling email workflows using CRM tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).

• Lead Nurturing: Help manage subscriber lists and segment audiences for targeted outreach.

3. Paid Media (SEM/Social Ads)

• Ad Support: Assist in the setup and monitoring of Google Ads or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns.

• Creative Input: Suggest headlines and visual concepts for high-converting advertisements.

• Budget Tracking: Help monitor daily spends to ensure campaigns stay within budget.

4. Analytics & Reporting

• Data Collection: Compile weekly data from various digital channels into a unified report.

• Insights: Identify patterns in user behavior and suggest improvements for the digital sales funnel.

Requirements

• Academic: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

• Technical: Basic understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and PPC.

• Writing: Exceptional written communication skills with a focus on persuasion and clarity.

• Analytical: Comfortable working with numbers and Excel/Google Sheets.
