About VG Gold

VG Gold is a premium jewellery manufacturer specializing in high-quality gold and diamond jewellery. We are looking for a creative and technically strong Manual Jewellery Designer who can transform ideas into elegant, production-friendly designs while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original hand-sketched jewellery designs for rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, necklaces, bracelets, and bridal collections.

• Develop innovative collections based on market trends, customer preferences, and brand requirements.

• Prepare detailed manual sketches with accurate dimensions, stone placements, and technical specifications.

• Ensure every design is practical for manufacturing with minimal production issues.

• Coordinate closely with CAD designers, production, and merchandising teams to bring designs to life.

• Modify and improve designs based on customer or management feedback.

• Maintain a library of design concepts and collection sheets.

• Research domestic and international jewellery trends to create commercially successful collections.

Required Skills

• Excellent freehand sketching and rendering skills.

• Strong understanding of gold, diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery proportions.

• Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, casting limitations, setting techniques, and finishing.

• Ability to create designs that are both aesthetically appealing and production-friendly.

• Strong creativity with exceptional attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic knowledge of CAD/Matrix or CorelDRAW is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Manual Jewellery Designer.

• Diploma or Degree in Jewellery Design is preferred.

• Prior experience in Gold and Diamond Jewellery Manufacturing is highly preferred.
