Job Description – Picker, Packer & Delivery Associate

Position: Picker, Packer & Delivery Associate
Department: Warehouse & Logistics
Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor / Store Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and hardworking Picker, Packer & Delivery Associate to support our warehouse operations. The role involves accurately picking products from inventory, packing orders as per company standards, preparing dispatch documentation, and delivering goods to customers when required. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Pick products and materials from warehouse locations based on delivery orders, invoices, or pick lists.

• Verify product quantities, specifications, and condition before packing.

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing incoming materials.

• Arrange and maintain warehouse stock in an organized manner.

• Conduct regular stock checks and support inventory audits.

Packing & Dispatch

• Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.

• Label, tag, and prepare shipments according to dispatch requirements.

• Ensure all delivery documents, invoices, and challans are accurate and complete.

• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors regarding dispatch schedules.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in packing and dispatch areas.

Delivery Operations

• Deliver goods to customers, vendors, transporters, or branch locations as assigned.

• Obtain customer acknowledgements, signatures, or proof of delivery.

• Ensure timely and safe transportation of products.

• Handle products carefully during loading and unloading.

• Report delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns to the supervisor.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow company safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.

• Use warehouse equipment and tools responsibly.

• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the warehouse.

• Adhere to company policies regarding inventory handling and delivery operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10th Pass / 12th Pass preferred.

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, packing, dispatch, or delivery is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of inventory and material handling.

• Ability to read delivery notes, invoices, and packing lists.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Valid Driving License (Two-Wheeler/Four-Wheeler) preferred for delivery responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch, packing, or delivery operations.

• Experience handling industrial products, engineering goods, bearings, machinery parts, or similar products will be an added advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Picking and packing accuracy.

• On-time order dispatch and delivery.

• Inventory handling and stock accuracy.

• Product damage reduction.

• Adherence to safety and warehouse procedures.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse and industrial environment.

• Involves standing, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.

• May require local travel for deliveries and customer visits.

Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.

• It is a Full Time Delivery job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
