📝 Role Summary:
The Delivery Executive plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods between the company and its customers. You will be responsible for safe, on-time, and accurate delivery of packages/products, maintaining excellent customer service, and managing the entire delivery lifecycle from pickup to drop-off.
📦 Core Responsibilities:
🚚 Delivery & Pickup
Pick up items from the warehouse, store, or partner outlets.
Deliver items to customers at their home, office, or business location.
Handle returns, exchanges, and reverse pickups as per the process.
Manage express deliveries, bulk deliveries, or time-sensitive items when assigned.
💬 Customer Service
Greet customers politely and deliver with a professional attitude.
Resolve basic customer queries or coordinate with the support team if needed.
Maintain good relations with frequent customers or vendor partners.
📱 App & Tech Usage
Use company mobile app for delivery instructions, order tracking, OTPs, or navigation.
Update delivery status in real time: Picked Up / On the Way / Delivered.
Follow digital payment or COD process accurately.
🔒 Safety & Compliance
Follow road safety laws and company delivery protocols.
Ensure goods are handled securely—especially fragile, food, or electronic items.
Wear helmet, safety vest, and company ID at all times (as per policy).
🧾 Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily delivery logs or trip sheets.
Report undelivered parcels, payment collection, or incidents.
Submit proof of delivery (signature/photo) via mobile app or paper form.
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications:
📋 Basic Requirements:
10th Pass or above (12th preferred but not mandatory).
Valid driver’s license and a two-wheeler in good condition.
PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and Address Proof.
Smartphone with active internet and GPS.
🧠 Soft Skills:
Punctuality and time management.
Trustworthy and honest—especially when handling cash.
Good communication skills and customer interaction.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Problem-solving skills—especially with traffic, delivery delays, or customer issues.
