Responsibilities
Loading and Unloading: Pack items into the vehicle and unload them safely at each stop.
Route Navigation: Follow assigned routes and use GPS tools to find the fastest way to each destination.
Customer Service: Greet clients politely, answer questions, and get signatures or confirmation for dropped-off items.
Payment Processing: Collect cash or digital payments when delivering unpaid orders.
Vehicle Maintenance: Check fuel levels, keep the vehicle clean, and report any mechanical problems.
Record Keeping: Log completed deliveries, track inventory, and fill out required paperwork. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Qualifications
Driver’s License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy boxes or cargo, often up to 50 pounds.
