Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Delivery: Transporting items to various locations within set timeframes.Route Management: Planning efficient routes, finding shortcuts, and avoiding traffic.Vehicle Handling: Loading, unloading, inspecting, and maintaining the delivery vehicle.Customer Service: Interacting professionally with customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and getting signatures/feedback.Documentation: Completing logs, reports, and handling payments (cash/digital).Safety: Following all traffic laws, road safety guidelines, and reporting issues like accidents. Essential Qualifications & Skills:License: Valid driver's license (for vehicle type used).Navigation: Strong local area knowledge and route planning skills.Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills.Physical Fitness: Ability to lift items and work in varying weather conditions.Customer Focus: A customer-oriented mindset. Typical Requirements:Education: High school diploma often preferred.Experience: Prior experience as a delivery driver is a plus.Tools: Familiarity with delivery apps and GPS is common.
