A Purchase Executive manages the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, issuing purchase orders (POs), and monitoring inventory levels to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods. They maintain vendor relationships, ensure quality standards, and keep detailed records of purchases to support organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Procurement & Sourcing: Source materials, goods, and services, comparing offers for the best quality and pricing.
Order Processing: Generate, approve, and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules.
Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages, and reconcile inventory records.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier contracts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Buyer, or in a similar procurement role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Software: Proficiency in ERP software or purchasing systems (e.g., SAPGorfugal).
Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain procedures and market trends.
