Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Marketing Executive to promote our civil engineering testing and laboratory services. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and increasing awareness of the company's testing services among construction companies, contractors, consultants, architects, government departments, and infrastructure developers.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and infrastructure sector.
Promote laboratory testing services, including soil testing, concrete testing, aggregate testing, bitumen testing, cement testing, steel testing, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other material testing services.
Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, consultants, government agencies, and industrial clients to generate business.
Prepare and deliver presentations on laboratory capabilities and testing services.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Coordinate with the laboratory and operations teams to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Prepare quotations, follow up on proposals, negotiate pricing within company guidelines, and support contract finalization.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Maintain customer records, sales reports, and business development activities using CRM or company reporting systems.
Participate in exhibitions, technical seminars, and industry networking events.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
Experience in a civil engineering testing laboratory, construction materials industry, ready-mix concrete, infrastructure, or related technical services is preferred.
Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of civil engineering materials and laboratory testing services.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
