Responsibilities

Assess and underwrite fire & marine insurance proposals.

Evaluate risk, decide premium, terms, and conditions.

Ensure compliance with company policies & IRDAI regulations.

Liaise with surveyors, brokers, and clients for risk inspections.

Maintain underwriting records and support sales teams with technical inputs.

Requirements

Graduate/Postgraduate in Insurance, Finance, or related field.

Insurance certification (III Licentiate/Associate) preferred.

2–5 years of relevant underwriting experience.

Strong analytical, decision-making & communication skills.
