Job Description: Division Incharge – Smart Meter Installation

Role Summary

The Division Incharge – Smart Meter Installation will be responsible for managing and executing smart meter installation activities within the assigned division. The role requires hands-on experience in smart metering projects, team management, and coordination with DISCOMs to ensure timely and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end smart meter installation operations within the assigned division.

• Plan, monitor, and ensure daily installation targets are achieved as per project requirements.

• Coordinate with DISCOM officials and other stakeholders for smooth execution of work. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

• Manage field teams, resolve on-ground challenges, and ensure minimal downtime. • Track productivity, installation progress, and report status to senior management. • Maintain proper documentation related to installations and handovers.

• Responsible for managing collateral operations, Overseeing inward, outward, and devolution processes, in coordination with the DISCOM office, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.

Team Management

• Must be capable of onboarding and managing a team of at least 10 technicians experienced in smart meter installation.

• Ensure technicians are trained, deployed effectively, and adhere to safety protocols. • Monitor technician performance and ensure consistent productivity.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in Smart Metering projects. • Experience working with any DISCOM across India will be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of smart meter installation processes, field execution, and coordination with utilities.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and metering standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to handle field operations and resolve issues proactively.

• Result-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Other Requirements

• Age should be 25-35

• Can be moved from Supervisor to Division Incharge based on process knowledge , to keep in mind salary can be negotiated .

• Should have a bike & DL .

• Should be able to travel between subdivisions .

• It is a Full Time Customer Support / TeleCaller job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
