Key responsibilities
Conduct field visits: Travel to clients' locations to collect outstanding payments.
Negotiate payment plans: Discuss and agree on repayment schedules with clients to resolve overdue accounts.
Maintain records: Keep detailed and accurate records of all collection activities, cash handling, and customer interactions.
Follow up: Monitor accounts and follow up on payment commitments to ensure timely payments.
Ensure compliance: Adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and audit requirements for debt management.
Report on performance: Provide regular updates and reports to management on collection activities, account status, and target achievement.
Resolve issues: Address customer queries and disputes related to billing and payments.
Escalate cases: Identify and escalate problematic or high-risk accounts to supervisors for further action.
