Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic School Counsellor with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in counseling students. The ideal candidate will support students' emotional, academic, behavioral, and career development through individual and group counseling, guidance, and intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal, academic, behavioral, and career counseling to students

• Identify students’ issues through observation, referrals, and communication

• Conduct regular mental health awareness programs and workshops

• Support teachers and parents in handling student-related challenges

• Maintain confidential student records and session documentation

• Promote overall emotional well-being and a positive school environment

• Guide students on career options and higher education planning

• Manage crisis situations with appropriate sensitivity and action

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a school counsellor or child psychologist

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong listening skills and ability to build trust with students

• Good understanding of child and adolescent psychology

• Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion

Preferred:

• Certification in school counseling or clinical psychology

• Experience with career guidance, psychometric assessments, or special needs support
