Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one mentoring sessions, supporting goal-setting and time management, and fostering academic excellence. Additionally, the Academic Mentor will collaborate with faculty, monitor student progress, and recommend improvements for their learning experience.
Qualifications
Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
Experience with academic planning, goal setting, and problem-solving
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
Knowledge of educational techniques and resources to support student growth
Proficiency in using technology and tools for student progress tracking
Prior experience in education or a mentoring role is an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
Adaptable and empathetic approach towards diverse student needs
