We are seeking an experienced ERP Functional Consultant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for implementing and optimizing ERP solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization, and supporting business users in effectively leveraging the system. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of ERP applications and be capable of mapping business processes to system functionalities.
ERP Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the configuration of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.) to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements.
Map business processes to ERP system functionalities and assist in system design and implementation.
Support data migration, system integration, and testing efforts.
Requirements Analysis & Solution Design:
Work closely with business units to understand their processes and identify areas for improvement using ERP software.
Translate business needs into functional specifications.
Recommend ERP best practices to optimize business operations.
Assist in the development of custom features or modifications to meet specific business needs.
Training & Support:
Provide end-user training on ERP system functionalities, workflows, and best practices.
Develop user documentation and training materials.
Act as a point of contact for end-user support and troubleshooting during and after system implementation.
Provide ongoing system support and maintenance post-implementation.
Testing & Validation:
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets functional requirements.
Help design and execute test cases and ensure that the system works as expected across all business functions.
Work with technical teams to resolve any issues identified during testing.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest ERP technologies and industry trends to recommend system upgrades or improvements.
Identify and drive improvements in ERP system performance and efficiency.
Continuously assess the effectiveness of the ERP system and propose enhancements based on business needs.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an ERP functional consultant role or similar position, preferably with [specific ERP system like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics].
ERP Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, etc.).
Business Process Knowledge: Familiarity with business processes and practices across multiple departments.
Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of ERP system architecture, databases, and integrations.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience analyzing business requirements and proposing ERP solutions.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Project Management: Experience working in a project environment, familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Certifications: ERP-specific certifications (e.g., SAP Certified, Oracle ERP Certified).
Industry Expertise: Experience working with ERP in [industry-specific, e.g., Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare].
Change Management: Experience with change management processes, including stakeholder engagement and training.
Detail-Oriented: Capable of working with complex system configurations and business requirements.
