Customer Service Executive (Calling and giving payment reminders to customers)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Executive to join our team
in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following up with customers for
outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collections
while maintaining a professional relationship with clients. This role is suitable for fresh
graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are looking to build a
career in collections and finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Contact customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to follow
up on pending payments.
• Ensure timely collection of dues as per company policies and payment
schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, commitments, and
payment status.
• Resolve customer queries related to billing, invoices, and payment terms in a
professional manner.
• Escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts to senior team members when
required.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Accounts and Customer Support for
issue resolution.
• Adhere strictly to compliance guidelines and ethical collection practices.
Eligibility & Qualifications
• Any Graduate / Undergraduate (Commerce or Finance background preferred).
• Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in collections, customer service, or finance
operations.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and payment processes is an added advantage.
Required Skills
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil (additional languages are a
plus).
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, CRM systems).
• Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle customer conversations professionally and calmly.
