Data Management: Ensure data integrity, manage storage, perform backups, and generate reports.
Security & Compliance: Follow security protocols, manage access, and secure sensitive information.
User Support: Answer user questions, resolve basic issues, and provide training.
Documentation: Maintain operational logs, run procedures manuals, and document issues.

Common Duties

Operating mainframes, servers, and peripheral equipment.
Managing tape libraries and off-site storage.
Producing and distributing printouts.
Collaborating with IT staff (programmers, analysts).

Key Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma (Associate's degree or IT certs are a plus).
Experience with data entry, database management, and common software (MS Office).
