The Collection Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team of collection executives working on overdue loan accounts. The role focuses on achieving recovery targets, improving team performance, ensuring disciplined follow-ups, and maintaining compliance with collection policies. This is an office-based leadership role with responsibility for both performance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of collection executives in an office/tele-calling environment
Assign daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets to team members
Contact customers for overdue loan/EMI payments through calls
Maintain records of calls, payments, and promises to pay in system/CRM
Achieve monthly recovery targets
Coordinate with internal teams for escalations and disputes
Maintain accurate records in CRM or collection systems
Ensure professional and compliant communication with customers
Skills required: Good communication, basic computer knowledge, negotiation skills, target-oriented mindset
