We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in our microfinance operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of microfinance products, field operations, and team leadership.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth targets in assigned regions.
Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and client segments in the microfinance sector.
Build and manage relationships with customers, partners, and field teams.
Monitor portfolio performance, loan disbursement, and recovery operations.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and client servicing.
Conduct field visits to ensure adherence to operational and compliance standards.
Prepare and analyse business performance reports and suggest improvement plans.
Train, motivate, and lead field officers to achieve individual and team goals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of microfinance operations and regulatory norms
Analytical thinking and a target-oriented approach
Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation
Leadership and team management skills
MBA (Marketing/Finance) from a recognised institution
Experience in Microfinance, NBFC, or Rural Banking sector
