The Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and supporting enrollment goals. This role involves outreach, counseling, application review, and collaboration with academic and administrative teams to ensure a positive applicant experience.
Counsel prospective students and families on admission requirements, academic programs, and enrollment procedures
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments
Conduct campus tours, information sessions, school visits, and recruitment events
Review and evaluate applications for completeness and eligibility
Maintain accurate applicant records in the admissions management system
Follow up with applicants to encourage application completion and enrollment
Collaborate with marketing, financial aid, and academic departments
Represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, and community events
Track recruitment data and prepare reports on enrollment trends and outcomes
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulations
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
Prior experience in admissions, counseling, education, or sales-related roles preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to build rapport with diverse populations
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in CRM or admissions software and Microsoft Office tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Public speaking and event coordination abilities
