We are looking for an experienced and passionate South Indian Chef who specializes in authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, chutneys, and full South Indian meals. The candidate should also be skilled in preparing a variety of Chinese dishes (starters, gravies, rice, noodles) to cater to a wider audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare authentic South Indian dishes including different varieties of dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, rasam, chutneys, and traditional thalis/meals.
Cook Chinese cuisine items including fried rice, noodles, manchurian, soups, and starters.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and follow all food safety standards.
Innovate and introduce new items in line with customer preferences.
Manage portion control and minimize wastage.
Work with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in South Indian cooking (restaurant/hotel/cloud kitchen).
Hands-on experience with Chinese cuisine preferred.
Strong knowledge of traditional recipes, spices, and cooking techniques.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
