Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate Commi III – South Indian Cuisine to join our kitchen team at Malgudi. The candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
Assist in preparing South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, chutneys, and other regional specialties.
Follow standard recipes and portion sizes as per kitchen guidelines.
Ensure timely preparation of mise en place before service.
Kitchen Operations
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Quality & Hygiene
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment and utensils.
Adhere to company and FSSAI guidelines for food safety.
Team Support
Work closely with Commi I, Commi II, and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service.
Assist during busy service hours to maintain kitchen efficiency.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in a South Indian kitchen.
Basic knowledge of South Indian cuisine preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Good team player with willingness to learn.
