Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced South Indian Cook who specializes in preparing authentic South Indian breakfast items and beverages. The candidate should be skilled in making various types of dosas, idlis, vadas, chutneys, sambar, and South Indian filter coffee while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare South Indian dishes including Dosa, Idli, Vada, Pongal, Upma, and other breakfast items.
Make different varieties of dosas such as Plain Dosa, Masala Dosa, Set Dosa, Rava Dosa, and Ghee Roast.
Prepare authentic South Indian chutneys, sambar, and accompaniments.
Brew traditional South Indian filter coffee and other hot beverages.
Ensure proper food preparation, presentation, and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Monitor stock levels and inform management about raw material requirements.
Minimize food wastage and maintain kitchen efficiency.
Follow company recipes and quality standards consistently.
Requirements
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a South Indian restaurant, hotel, or café.
Expertise in preparing South Indian breakfast items and filter coffee.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
