A Pizzaiolo at PizzaExpress is responsible for preparing and baking high-quality pizzas while maintaining brand standards, food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency. The role requires passion for Italian cuisine, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings as per company recipes and standards.
Stretch, top, and bake pizzas accurately and efficiently.
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Ensure food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety standards are followed at all times.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Support smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper storage practices.
Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure excellent guest experience.
Follow SOPs and maintain quality standards of the brand.
Requirements:
Experience in pizza making or Italian cuisine preferred.
Knowledge of dough preparation and pizza baking techniques.
Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
