Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook with at least 1 year of experience in bakery and pastry production. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, baked goods, and ensuring consistent quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, cookies, and other baked products.
Assist in daily production of bakery and pastry items as per company standards.
Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all bakery products.
Follow standard recipes and production guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and supplies and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
Assist senior chefs in new product preparation and trials when required.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in bakery or pastry section.
Basic knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert plating.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
