We are seeking an experienced North Indian Speciality Chef (Vegetarian) for our Central Kitchen in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in authentic North Indian vegetarian dishes, the ability to handle high-volume production, and strong leadership skills to manage and guide the kitchen team.
Prepare and oversee production of a variety of North Indian vegetarian dishes, including:
Starters: Veg kebabs, tikkas, chaats, pakoras, etc.
Main Course: Paneer dishes, koftas, seasonal sabzis, gravies.
Dals & Lentils: Dal makhani, dal tadka, rajma, chole, and other regional lentil varieties.
North Indian Combos: Thalis, meal combos, roti-sabzi sets, paratha combos, etc.
Standardize recipes for central kitchen production ensuring consistency, taste, and quality.
Lead, supervise, and guide kitchen staff; assign tasks and oversee workflow.
Ensure timely preparation for bulk orders and daily supply to outlets.
Maintain strict hygiene standards, kitchen safety, and FSSAI food handling regulations.
Monitor inventory, coordinate with procurement, and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
Support menu planning, trial dishes, and seasonal menu updates.
Ensure high-quality food presentation and adherence to portion control guidelines.
Extensive hands-on experience in North Indian Vegetarian Cuisine (central kitchen experience is an added advantage).
Strong knowledge of spices, regional flavors, and traditional cooking methods.
Ability to manage and supervise a team efficiently.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure, high-volume kitchen operations.
