Job Overview
Bistro Buddies is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our team. The selected candidate will assist in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring timely service while delivering quality food to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in preparing and cooking food according to restaurant standards.
- Wash, cut, chop, and prepare ingredients as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and food items.
- Assist with food plating, packaging, and order preparation.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and report stock shortages.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations regularly.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain personal hygiene.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Support opening and closing kitchen activities.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion consistency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness.
- Previous restaurant or café experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
