The Kitchen Helper assists kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This role supports food preparation, cleaning duties, and basic kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily service.
Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients)
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
Help with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies
Dispose of garbage and maintain cleanliness standards
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
Support kitchen staff during busy service hours
Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef
Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures
Good physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting items)
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Basic understanding of food hygiene is a plus
