Kitchen Helper

Momodelights is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and energetic Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, ingredient handling, and day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.

• Help prepare ingredients and maintain an organized kitchen workspace.

• Support the preparation and packing of momos and other food items as instructed.

• Keep kitchen utensils, equipment, counters, and work areas clean and sanitized.

• Wash dishes, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Receive, sort, and store food ingredients properly.

• Check ingredients for freshness and report any damaged or spoiled items.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

• Assist with stock organization and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low.

• Support cooks and other kitchen team members during busy periods.

• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen, restaurant, food production, or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

• Punctual, responsible, and hardworking.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions carefully.
