• Prepare and cook meals for plant employees according to predetermined menus.

• Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workspace.

• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal quality.

• Monitor inventory and notify management of stock levels or shortages.

• Manage food prep work, including chopping, slicing, and ingredient assembly.

• Ensure that food allergens and dietary restrictions are considered in meal preparation.

• Assist in the planning and preparation of weekly or monthly menus based on employee preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients.

• Serve food in a timely manner and ensure that it meets both quality and safety standards.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances, counters, and work areas regularly.

• Ensure proper storage of food to prevent contamination and waste.

• Comply with all company policies, including those related to health and safety.

• Assist with training new kitchen staff or other employees as required.

• Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
