We are hiring a skilled Indian Curry & Tandoor Chef who has experience in preparing authentic Indian curries and tandoor dishes. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian spices, gravy preparation, tandoor operations, and kitchen hygiene standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Indian curry and tandoor dishes as per recipes
Handle tandoor section including naan, roti, kebabs, tikka, and grilled items
Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards
Ensure proper preparation of gravies, marinades, and mise en place
Monitor kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Manage stock and inform management about inventory requirements
Control food wastage and maintain food cost
Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth operations
Follow SOPs and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
Train junior kitchen staff when required
Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Indian Curry & Tandoor section
Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Team player with disciplined work attitude
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
