Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook tandoor items like roti, naan, kulcha, tandoori roti, kebabs, and other tandoor dishes.
Maintain correct temperature and operation of the tandoor.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation as per hotel standards.
Follow hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
Manage mise en place for tandoor section.
Coordinate with kitchen team and follow instructions of the Head Chef.
Minimize food wastage and use raw materials properly.
Clean and maintain tandoor equipment and work area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef.
Knowledge of Indian breads and tandoor cooking techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and during peak hours.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Team player with a positive attitude.
